MOZILLA EXTENSIONS
Mozilla and Netscape can have extra features added or the built-in features enhanced through "extensions."
Extensions I use:
- Live http headers
- Preference Menu Resizer - Mozilla
Suite and SeaMonkey only.
-
Tabbed Browser Extensions - adds a host of options to Mozilla's built-in tab browsing capability. It's
VERY big and some have said it slows Mozilla down. That's not my experience. It has been somewhat unstable
at times but the author updates it regularly. Seems to be pretty solid as of March 20, 2005. It has also been
somewhat unfairly maligned. It does NOT, contrary to what you might read, overwrite or replace any Mozilla
system files. On program startup it does replace some built-in Mozilla functions with its own. In my
use this has not been a problem and I really like the added control and features it offers.
- User Agent Switcher
- Web Developer Extension
- xSidebar - brings
Firefox-like sidebar functionality to SeaMonkey
